Last I heard JARD was working on this rifle and might re-release it sometime in 2016 when all the bugs are worked out

That's very unfortunate, since I was one of the original buyers. On the other hand I did buy a Su-16c and xcr-l in the last year for my non restricted .223 addiction

I had one also, Jard was close but oh well. A few changes and it would've been a big hit.
