Because I love my Shadow so much, I'm looking into getting a Jericho 941 .45ACP for IPSC major Standard division. This firearm seems to fit the bill nicely for <$1000 but my big beef with it is the slide-mounted safety/decocker. I do not wish to compete in Standard div if I have to make a DA shot at the beginning of each CoF...
So my question is, does anyone out there have any info on how to convert the slide-mounted safety/decocker to a frame-mounted (CZ/Tanfoglio style) safety? Is there any way a gunsmith can modify the safety/decocker to not decock the action?
