Seems like quite a few have been bought by forum members.
I didnt have any luck finding disassembly instructions specific to these guns.
My safety didnt want to stay in the safe position. Looks like its a bit different than CZ 75?
There is a small metal insert between the safety lever and the slide. Also a spring in the safety that I assume rides against the metal insert.
Has anyone worked on this?
Thank you

There are several variations out there, most notably the slide vs. frame safety models, and some of the police surplus frame safety ones were converted to single action only I believe. If you post some pictures or a bit more of a description I’m sure someone can help you out with your specific model.

I did one, the fellow before me had stuck some plastic or? to keep it from moving.
I was out of small springs, but a bic light spring is what I used I believe, those are handy springs .
Than I made the flat pointy bit.
The Jericho I had was a frame safety type, not the slide one, Either one are great pistols
It is a pin holding everything in place while butting it together.
There is no hole like in the CZ to hold the plate down while you slide the lever in.
I use a steel feeler gauge, also have a pallet knife that works OK. Best to have a clean floor or work in a box, bag, unless you have spare parts
A dab of grease will help hold things in place.
Remember to lift the sear spring to remove the safety, or you will need a new one.
I may have one left, not sure.

It does not matter is it is SA or DA , the last one I did was a converted DA to a SA.

PS rereading your post, you have the spring and the cam?
Maybe it is just out of place or the spring is weak or broken.
I don't have any pictures it is a simple setup , but with the safety lever in place you can't see anything

Comes apart the same way as a CZ; line up the witness marks, bump the slide stop then pull it out, slide the slide off the front of the gun.

Important tip; if you are taking apart internals, do it in a plastic bag; springs, pins etc can be quite small. I did replace some safety components and a sear in another CZ clone, and there are a lot of really small parts. Start to finish it was over a 2 hour job, but I had no idea what I was doing. Also take photos with your phone so you can reference later. There are a lot of parts.

Hi.
Sorry for the slow reply.
I used the wrong word, my gun has a frame safety .
This is the metal tab that sits in a recess in the frame under the safety lever. I believe the spring in the lever rides against this tab.
This holds the lever in the safe position?
I assume the pointed end of the tab faces the spring.

I didnt see this in any of the online manuals or you tube videos.
Am I correct in my assumptions?
I tried assembling it , but getting the spring to ride against the tab is not easy to assemble

the point end goes forward , spring sits on the back ,hollow end , the point sits in notch at front end and clicks into notches , indent, to hold it up or down.
I made some coffee and sit down with a clean slate so you can find that and the spring when it all goes south, on the floor.
As I said before, find a nice box or big bag to do it.
It took me a while, When you get really pissed off, make more coffee or go out for a beer.
CZ has a small hole that you can use a small pin to hold stuff, but not on these.
I use a feeler gauge to hold it and the spring in the frame while I line up the safety.
Good luck.

BTW 3 hands would be a help, as usual.
