I was listening to him today in the car and he was getting ripped up by "knowledgeable hunters" for saying that the best way to deal with an angry bear was a shotgun. He ended up admitting that he really wasn't a hunter and that it surprised him that a shotgun wasn't enough and that he would need a "high-powered rifle" instead.
Not looking to start another endless argument about bear defense and what's best, but who are these knuckle-heads telling him this, eh? Have they never heard of slugs down in the US? Am I the only one who finds this funny?
