"Joe Kid" - On TV c Clint Eastwood

In "Joe Kid" which I tuned into yesterday afternoon, late, I saw a Mauser pistol, with butt stock.

But towards the end of it, did I see a Savage 99 with a scope on it?

You also saw a lot of Post 54 Winnies...all had short wood forearms. Pre 54s had the long woods.

Not meaning to hi-jack this thread, but has anyone watched the movie " Crossfire Trail " with Tom Selleck ?
If so, what is the rifle used by the bad guy " Bo Dorn"...it resembles a Remington - Keene but I'm not certain.
As for Joe Kidd...is the rifle he puts together a Ross to dust Mingo ??
