Joe salters site! they dont ship Antique cartridge guns to Canada!!

Yep new rules Guys Aparently dave that runs the place has decided that they wont ship antique Revolvers or pistols that shoot cartridges anymore to us folks in CANADA.
Why you ask???
Well aparently some guy bought a 41 RF pistol from them up here in Canada and Canada customs Seized it and this guy said it cost $1500 for him to get it back.
Anyone here have a 41 seized??
I phoned Customs they said it didnt happen!
It costs nothing to win and apeal!
I know cause ive done it!
maby it was US customs,

OK...why would a guy dream this up so as not to do business with customers? don't you think a business person (US or otherwise) would do all they can to gain customers?

Well this Dave guy runs the show i never spoke to Joe!
And maby it did happen but NOT the way Dave said.

Maby they put a lower value on it to help the Canadian buyer save on taxes?
I dont know but he said it cost him $1500 to get the gun back!
Why would it of cost him anything and why would a company like this Send a gun up here that was NOT pre 1898 then turn around and make us Canadians all pay for there mistake?

Well Dave just emailed me Explaining it was one of them 41 remington Derringers and customs were compleat dicks and did seize the gun.
So its our Customs dicking around salters company thats why they changed the rules.
Musta been Montreal Customs tho some them Derringers are hard to date.

Joe is still involved - I spoke with him (and bought a revolver off him) a couple months back at the gun show in Moncton.
