Joining the 858 Club! Fiber optic sights?

Yup. Bought one from weimajack. Should be here in a few weeks! Yippee! I am stoked about this purchase like no other so far!

Question. Is anyone using the fiber optic sights from Zahal.org? I am not looking for fancier optics, but these fiber optics look like a good upgrade for $100.

I use the NEA FO sights, not for precision work but good for up close quick target aquistion stuff.

I have the Zahal set. I use the rear FO with a front NEA tritium sight. I find the front post is a little to wide compared to the CZ one. Also the Zahal front post is not slotted like the CZ/NEA ones and you'll have to use locktite and/or paint to hold it in.

Not the end of the world, but a pain in the a$$ none the less. I do like a thin front sight.

I'd stick with the stock sights but thats just me. I don't like fiber optic sights. They tend to be fat and cover your target completely. This is just me though. If the stock sights arn't doing it for you, a side mount and a scope might be worth looking into. YMMV.

For another $120 or so and a mount you can throw a little Vortex Sparc on there or something. That's what I'm running now. Nice setup. I love red dots
