So far the trip has been a wonderful experience and it is has been real fun watching some of the other events and getting a taste for India Culture. When I get some more time I will try to post a bit more about the shooting and the culture here.
The shooting venue by the way is amazing. The first .22 range is oudoors with 80 positions (although it is indoors it has large walls surrounding it). The air rifle range is above the .22 range and has 80 positions as well. It is fully indoors and is air conditioned, etc. The pistol range is indoors I believe with 50 positions. Furthermore there is a seperate finals hall (fully indoors) with 10 postions air rilfe, 10 rifle, and 10 pistol postions. All positions are equipted with electronic scoring (you are basically shooting into a rubber mat and as soon as you shoot your shot will show up on a screen beside you with your shot value (to nearest 1/10th of a point) and distance from bull. Its really nice anway and I will be sure to post some pictures when I get back.
Thanks all! Just got home last night after 35+ hours of travel so I am currently a tad bit tired but when I get settled in a bit more I will be sure to post a few pictures and details.
Here are a few pictures. I think I may have a few better ones of the outside of the range on my other camera that I will post later. I am also working on a bit of a report of the trip that I will hopefully be able to post later A lot of the range pictures were taken on the first couple days when the range wasn't quite finnished. At the end it was looking a bit nicer
