I have a sako A7 .300WM and i want a nice looking muzzle brake not too big

thanks

My understanding is that JP is not DDTC registered so they can not legally have their products exported, so unless 1 wants to engage in illegal exports, in the US they must stay. They have several products that we have tried to obtain but could not get an export permit approved for their products.

i can make one of those, give me some dimensions

Anyone can make something like that. Are you going to be financially and legally responsible for it when the thing blows up and injures someone? Are you gonna fit a precision piece of equipment that must withstand 60,000 psi of pressure to a rifle you have never seen?

Probably not the best idea.

Looks pretty much like the Holland QD brake.

I have them on rifles in 300 Win (A-5 stock 12 .5 pounds), 338 Edge, and a 375 Ultra.
I plant to install one one my forthcoming 416 Ultra project.

The Holland QD is a very effective brake, but there are a lot of other good brakes around. Ab Tacs stuff looks good too.

60KPSI at the chamber.....I believe 3-4KPSI at the muzzle.
Fitting the brake is the real tricky part.

That said the Holland brake goes for somewhere around a hundred bucks and is a good deal for the money. I know this because I had a machinist look at reproducing one and was told another would not be built for aanything resembling $100.00 :D

I believe Brownells can ship JP products.

From JP website:
International Orders
Due to further restrictions on export sales by the US State Department and the time-consuming nature of processing export orders, we will no longer accept retail export orders for gun parts. Brownells is better equipped to process such orders and can special order any of our products that they do not regularly carry. Please contact them or visit their website at www.brownells.com.

They are on the State Dept. list of approved 'factories'

Factory Number Factory Name Factory Address 1 Factory Address 2 Factory City/State/Zip DDTC Registered ( Yes )
# 452 "J P ENTERPRISES, INC." "7605 N. 128TH ST., BLDG B" "WHITE BEAR LAKE, MN 55110" Yes

I could make that thing. Loads of people on here could make it. The making of the thing isn't what I am getting at.

Unless you have an incorporated company you can be held personally financially responsible for all liabilities associated with any accident or damages that could occur if it goes wrong. Is that worth showing off that you can make such a thing?
