I had a 9mm awhile ago and really enjoyed it, but sold it due to circumstances and I don't have anything else 9mm. I'm more of a .45 guy. That being said, I see they're doing JRs set up to take 1911 mags. I did a search here and elsewhere, and I'm surprised to see there's not much about them.

Is anybody shooting one of these? Thoughts?

I've got a drawer full of 1911 mags so it sure would be handy.

I've a Glock version and it's a bit fussy. I've figured out how to feed it now and it doesn't jam or ruin TOO many cases at this point.

Still, I can't recommend the 45 JR. Don't know whether the 1911 version is better or not.

Mine is new manufacture, btw. The supposed fixed version

I have the older JR45, have worked with the maker to resolve the issues, I finally ground a chamfer on the top of the barrel and seems to work good, until then had 3 glock mags and only 1 worked well the others fired the first round and crushed the second, now all 3 mags work.

would like to change the mag holder for 1911 and try it, they are way easier to load rounds into, maybe someone else could advise if 1911 is available.
