JR Carbine Adjustable Stock Pinned?

I just unboxed my JR Carbine 40 cal. The adjustable stock is pinned with a roll pin so it is unadjustable. If I remove the pin, the stock then becomes adjustable. Do I change the status of the rifle from NR to Restricted??

No.
The pin is there for export from the US reasons.
As long as it is over 26" when collapsed, you are good to go.
