JR Carbine Ambi Selector.

Anyone tried puting a bad ass selector in their JR yet?Im wondering if ill have to loosen the trigger assy and if it will be a pain in the ass?Im also wanting to buy an ambi safety if any1 has a spare.

I put one in, was drop in and I love it. you will have to torque the hex nut down and then ease it off to get your desired stiffness on the selector and then locktight the hex nut. works great! the selector will seem floppy and loose, but once you put the detent back in, it tightens everything back up.

I really like the Noveske/Magpul STS short throw ambi selectors. I have them on my AR's, and also installed one in my JRC. Works really well. Bought all of mine through Brownells.

Did the selector come out easy after grip removal? Mine is kinda stuck ,but I didn't try tapping it from the rh side yet.

Yup. Yours is stuck even with the hammer back and the detent out?

yea to take the safety out, you have to remove the grip and then remove the safety detent and spring, then its just a matter of wiggling it out.
