JR Carbine AR parts compatibility ???

I got The takedown model and mine yes it take everything from an AR platform,the barrel is a perfect .750 dia.

Mine is fitted with the new magpul handguard with a RIS gas block with folding sights.

So is that forend just fitted over top of the take down barrel then ? I was thinking about the jr carbine or aero for the takedown but I would like something like the ATI 15" free float forend on it but didnt know you could do a forend swap with the takedown model I thought you were stuck with their wierd looking little one
 
So the delta ring and the complete forearm fits right there ? I luv the Original AR style but not a picatinny rail fan. I am more of the " old school " iron sights etc !
 
The only thing i had to do was making a little washer in a motor gasket sheet that had to be put in the delta ring to tighting it enought for the barrel to stay in place,and the rest was put witout modification of any kind.
