JR Carbine Second Generation?

If you are worried about the problems contact Just right carbines, they will replace your bolt free of charge if your rifle qualifies, if it doesnt qualify no worries you have the updated bolt assembly. I just recieved mine from them with a few goodies free of charge (be nice on the phone).

No I was actually the first one to post here about the recall.

I've been eyeballing a JR since i 1st heard about them. But I really like that the sig version sub-2000 can accept cz-75 mags. Does anyone know if there is any kind of conversion kit for the jr? either to accept cz mags or sig mags(and hope that a sig version would feed ok from cz mags). or better yet. Any of you guys with a jr that happens to have a cz 75 mag laying around try it out and see if it works? glock and cz mags are pretty different so i won't hold my breath on that one though.

I picked up the Burris fastfire2 works great! I was able to leave the magpull flip up sights on it and can see over the red dot with them but they don't interfere with the red dot when folded down ....great combination, still haven't located pins you referred to on the stock where are they?

I honestly don't know. I will check mine this weekend.
The guys at shooters choice did it for me before I picked it up.

The roll pin is usually on the left side small receiver end end of the butt stock, in the small lower recess. It is blind and doesn't go through the other side. Very easy to remove. Note, there will be a hole left in your tube.

How did you remove it? I can't figure out any easy way :(

First gen - Triangle barrel
Second gen - Round barrel
Any JR with a round barrel is new and works flawlessly!!!! mine does anyways!! Wish someone would sell the conversion kits already!!!

Well so far so good for me. I got one of the early ones from EPPs when then first came out. I have a nice recipe of 9mm that I reload for my triangular barreled JR it has run like my Glocks. I am talking thousands of rounds through this thing.

Great rifles!

Your burr is definitely not carbide if you wore it out - you can easily cut HS twist drills with carbide. CTC even carries 1/8" carbide burrs individually. Trip to the store and you'll be fine!
