Anyone know if you remove the pin in the buttstock to make it collapsible if it remains unrestricted? I thought I remember seeing someone post about this but tried searching and couldn't find the post.

Another quick question, just bought a CTR stock from another member this also will not change it to restricted? Or if anyone knows where would I go to find this kind of information out? Sorry for the newb questions.

No, you're still ok. The Canadian firearm regs would be a good place to get the answers you're looking for. They're a little overwhelming but if you read them a couple times you should get the answers to your questions

Best way to take those pins out is to find a drill bit that is tight as you can find and drill it into the pin. Then take a pair of pliers and pull the pin out. I've seen guys trying to drill theirs out and they ended up breaking the stock. Replacing the stock or taking out the pin won't change anything as the barrel is still obviously over 470mm and the overall length exceeds the minimum of 660mm when stock is completely collapsed.

I would disagree with that. The easiest way to remove that pin is to drill in from the other side and push it through with a small punch. I think even if you where to take the stock off I think the OAL is still over 26".

Already had the pin removed to collapse the stock. Just wanted to make sure that changing stocks for some reason didn't make it restricted. Don't want to find out the hard way, lol.

I phone JRC to figure out how to get it to collapse guy said drill the other side and push the pin out. Afterwards I got thinking god i wonder if it long enough. Tape measure said more than good. So the short story I removed the pin first than wondered if it was ok.
