It really depends on what you want to use it for, what caliber, scope, etc.
The quality is there, as the stock locks up solid. It is quite heavy for what it is, but that is reflected in the balance and handling.
It works very well for what it gets used for. Certainly wouldn't build a hunting rifle with it.

I'd quicker be looking at the XLR Atom chassis.
The magnesium would be the lightest, but is also the priciest $1749.
The alum version @ 3lbs with folding stock is priced @ $1170
