Jumping in....in over my head?

CFE BLK is a good 7.62x39 powder.

I "neck size" my .303 brass by running the Lee full length sizer only 2/3 of the way down the neck.
I've heard others use a 7.62x54R sizer to achieve the same effect on a .303 case.
The taper of the brass will keep the body from engaging, and the unsized part of the neck will help to point the bullet at the center of the bore.

the 7.62x39 is a small case, so a lot of good powders for the 303 are too bulky for the little 7.62.

The powder that will work in both is H335, but 4198 or 1680 would be better.

For the 303, any medium speed rifle powder from 3031 to 4350 would work well. Your choice might be based on what is available.

The powders I use include: 3031, H335, BLC2, 4895, 4064, 748, Varget, RL15, N140, N150, 760, 4350. (760 and 4350 are for the 180 gr bullets)
