Jungle carbine quetion

Just looking at all the other JC/No5 i noticed that mine has a different flash hidder on the muzzle.Can anybody give me some info on it.

It's not a different flash hider, somebody hacksawed off the cone part.

I took the scope and mount off and picked up the flip up site to put on.Here's a couple of pics.
