Took her out to the range to break her in.. Got most of my mags up to 22rds (superX hp's), with some doing 23 reliably. The extractor (from the bolt upgrade kit) still digs into the casings like crazy... Had to physically push a safety cartridge off it on one occasion lol

Might post up some vids of my cousin shooting it and my soon to be ex-Mk II G, assuming I get my cousin's permission :)

Tell us more about the gun.

Started out with a pencil barrel 10/22, took off the stock.. Tried Archangel but I didn't trust the plastic rail and any takedown would involve a loss of zero, so I sold it and got Choate (thanks Jerry @ Mystic).. One issue with the Choate, especially if not running gloves, the pistol grip has a sharp edge so I butchered the top of my hand until I rounded it off. In any case now I'm running gloves as most of my shooting involves lots of rds in short time with the AR, the handguard gets hot, gloves are necessary, so I try to shoot everything with them now. Got the bolt upgrade kit (pin and extractor) from Brownells. Did my own trigger job, mostly based on the instructions posted here and links to other material from that thread.. Worked out great - clean and crisp 2.75lbs (down from 6.something), sweet reset, only 1rd per trigger pull lol I rounded the bolt, running a polyurethane buffer. Current optic is a Vortex Sparc, but I'll probably relegate it to the spare role and run my Meprolight M21 just for the fun of it :)

A couple of other notes...

The magwell is a bit tight so I'll need to sand it down a bit to make my mag changes smoother. Perfectly fine with running a pencil barrel. A match barrel adds unnecessary weight which slows me down and realistically at the ranges/targets that I'm talking about even 5MOA is good enough lol

This is what I'll be playing...
