Just a quick hello to all fellow Gunnutters. Ben is the name and I am looking forward to participating in the forums and on the Equipment Exchange.

Take it from one newbie to another, as a new member you'll notice the forum is mature and structured by a host of topics...so where to start?

1) I suggest that you read the NEWBIE FAQ's, I found this post very helpful and a great place to start.
2) Browse the forum topic titles, taking note of topics that spark your interest.
3) It is highly recommended that you use the search feature to find answers to intuitive queries and questions. Remember there is no such thing as a dumb question...unless that question has already been answered.
4) You'll find a wealth of information here and maybe even a mentor. Finding a mentor can be an awesome way to learn about firearms and what the sport has to offer.
5) If you are wanting to Buy (WTB) or Wanting to Sell (WTS) equipment you will need to apply to gain access to Equipment Exchange (EE), please read. http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/faq.php?faq=new_faq_item#faq_cgn_exchange_rules

Thanks all. I have sandbagged the site for some time and have finally decieded to toss my hat in. I have quite a bit of xperience with firearms, a lot more than i have with the computer that is for sure. I have applied to be accepted on the trader forums as there are a few guns I would like to sell and a few I would like to buy. I am hoping to sell my .338 Lapua Mag Timberwolf and buy a 50 cal either by Styer ( mag fed ) or a barret. Hopefully I wil qualify for the trader forums.
