Let's not forget to show our appreciation to all those land owners who graciously allow us to hunt on their property.
I just got back home from dropping off some venison to a very nice man that allowed me to hunt on his land this year for the first time. He was absolutely tickled , and he said to me....... see ya next year !

When I used to hunt others land I would always bring them enough deer steak to feed their family... and when my sausage was done at the butchers in late winter I would always swing back by with some nice crackers and a salami and bottle of my homemade wine..... Always nice to show appreciation...

I always offer firewood... Whether from my land or to go help cut chop and stack theirs... I love doing it and those that don't love receiving it...

I always send a couple lcbo gift certificates to the landowners I hunt for. They are also co-workers and livestock farmers and have requested not to receive meat from the game I've harvested from their farms.
