Hello to all the CGN, I'm new to the community and like to say hi!, I'm currently just working in Barrie and would like to get to know the community and get out target shooting and meet others in the area. I've recently become a big fan of black rifles and shotguns and may start my collection there. any ideas on a good started piece would be appreciated.

You should arrange to head on over to the Barrie Gun Club. I am sure we could dig up some cool toys for you to play with ;) Best way to get a feel for what you want is to try a few out and see what fits, and how the owner built it up, costs, etc, etc.

thanks...that would be perfect if possible, since I have very limited practical experience with anything outside of an rem 870, lots of 22cal, M&P 40, revolvers etc. I'd also like to find out some info on what kinda gear, optics and safe's that others are using. As well as i'd like to find out about the process of getting a membership at a local club, since there is a few to choose from in the area.
