Sept 1th hunting season kicks off out here in Alberta.


The house is outa meat so were going asap for our first deer. I got a trip planned that I may wait till more in November when its colder to take to. Im planning on going to far north western Alberta for a week long hunting trip in the bush on foot. I think it would be a good experience.

I'm also looking forward to hunting this fall. I can't wait until September so I can go to the mountains and look for bear and elk.

Actually it's even better than that...many big game seasons begin August 25.

I'm just working on the trailer Tonight to get it ready for the duck opener. I picked up a new blind bag this year and have it loaded with steel. And I am dying to hear the new Browning roar in anger.

Got drawn for archery elk starting the end of August and just waiting patiently to find out if we got drawn for antelope in Montana. Some muzzleloader whitetail in October and it has the makings of a great season!

Aug 15th bear opens, usually dont bag on untill early sept after there's some cool mornings/evenings... The way the weather has been this year, I may bag one aug 15th!
