I was in Wholesale Sports in Calgary last night looking for a new .22 and somehow ended up looking at the handguns... Long story short, I ended up buying a Browning Buckmark Camper that comes with factory cocobolo grips and a Tru-Glo fiber optic front sight. All for, what I think is a very reasonable, $349.
I've never shot a Buckmark before but I must say that I really like the way it felt and balanced in my hand. I liked the feel of it a whole lot more than any of the Ruger .22's that I have shot. Hopefully I will have the transfer approved in time to get to take it shooting this weekend.
So does anyone know what I can expect for accuracy and reliability with this gun? Is there any ammo that I should stay away from? Does it do ok with bulk ammo? I'm hoping it shoots American Eagle well enough. I have a few thousand rounds of it sitting in the cabinet!
