Just bought a Redfield scope

Looking to buy a 2X7 myself.

Was at the Sportmen's show midweek and compared similar-priced scopes by Nikon, Burris and Vortex. IMHO Redfield had the clearest glass of the lot, please keep us posted with your remarks/shooting report.

I picked up a 3-9x50 a little while back for my 10/22, to me it seems like a fantastic scope for the money and I'm sure it won't have any problem with the recoil of a 22 LOL

love mine. Currently have it on my Ruger mk II .338 win mag. The 250 grainers I have been touching off haven't shook anything loose, and the glass is equal to or better than my VX-1 Leupold. I consider these to be in the "Best-Buy" category for the price/quality. Gonna pick up a 4x12-40 soon when I can find one to buy.

Great optics for the $
I'm looking at buying the 2-7 and the 4-12 for two rifles i want to scope.
I looked at these scope @ Williams Arms in Port perry, I'm impressed...!
The eye relief is well over 4.5 on all models and the glass seemmed to be crystal clear looking out Mr Williams window. For the price excellent value.

I looked at that scope last fall at the Cabelas in Post Falls Idaho. I looked quite good to me and only cost $130! I suspect they cost a lot more here. I would have been breaking US law to bring it back, so I didn't.

I have a 2-7 redfield on my BRNO ZKK 600 in .270 Win and I love it. Its produced in the same factory as the leupold scopes but since the redfield name only sports a few models (SKU's) they keep the cost down because they have to stop the production less to switch skus and make a different scope.

Well, if it lives through the recoil you should be ok. 3x is plenty low enough for the old 375 in the bush, and you'd be surprised how far you can shoot a 375 accurately, at the high end. - dan

Well being made by leupold, it should be tough enough to withstand the .375
I anticipate it will spend about 99.9 % of it's time at 3x...
