Im loving it. Its light and so much fun to shoot. Previous owner (Thanks Boris) added the pivot repair.

Who here has one and what should I look for or look to mod?

The brake is 1 piece to the barrel. You can send it off to get turned down to be threaded. I had one that had the muzzle threaded, also had the rear sight milled off, rail put on and cut the stock, and I think it was storm werk had a wire stock adapter installed. Then swapped it for a AR and put a MI quad rail on it..

But being its older not much you can really do with it, as there are modern ones so they might discontinued the parts.

Yeah there's not much beyond the pivot reinforcement that you MUST do. Stormwerks, Nodak Spud, and Midwest have made parts through the years but nothing is being pumped out for the OG 180B's these days.

Personally I would keep it as original as possible, other than milling down the brake for a flash suppressor. It has a unique old-school look while the others on the market look very similar to each other.

If the ban hammer does not come down on 180s you may soon be able to get some new 180 lowers again. NoDak Spud was folded into Palmetto State Armory, and NoDak's former owner is now the head of PSA's H&R division. At an interview at Shot Show on TFB he stated after working on producing a series of semi-automatic M16s reproductions, they do plan on using the NoDak IP to make some more 180 receivers.

Sold mine last year. I never shot it but the new owner who has a few of them told me that it is the best he has and it shoots amazing. Couldn't resist the $2,700 I sold it for, lol. All original with some sweet patina, unmodified. It looks cool I must say and feels light but not $2,700 cool. Paid $1,200 10 years ago.
