Right you are, I have been talking about it since last year, though last year I wanted a .340. Still do really, just that this one was there when funds were available. Gotta get my reloading stuff set up finally...
 
I think you will be satisfied. I've had two Mk. V's, one a SS in .257 and the other a Deluxe in .300 Wby. They both shot well.

nice they are very fine rifles i realy like the Mark V .300 watherby they just feel right in every way the only thing i dont realy like is the bolt i find it a bit sloppy.

Okay, just picked it up today. Was going to mount the scope and then found out that the screws for the bases that I had been sent (not new) were not correct... I now need new screws...Wonder if I should call Korth...

Edit: Just called them, screws on their way :D

Nice purchase. I know someone who has two of those beautys: one in 270 wby mag and the other in 300 wby mag just like you. Both seem to perform very well. Your choice scope is good also. I just love the finish on these guns.
