:) I just bought a Ruger SR9, I've read all about the Ghost Rocket trigger connector, where do you order one from here in the Great White North?:)
As well, I'm thinking of putting an iridium front sight on it, if anyone knows where I can order one of those from, that would be great! I know pistols aren't as finicky about ammo as many rifles are, but any of you who own a Ruger SR9, what ammo make/grain do you shoot out of it that it likes?
Thanks in advance for your help...looking forward to getting it out to the range!

Congrats on the SR9.....SR-9's are almost impossible to find in Canada, They're pretty much all sold out.

I've been feeding mine predominantly American Eagle 124gr but it has performed well with everything I have put through it.

I'd be interested in a Ghost too so I will be watching this thread with interest. I suspect everyone is going to say "Brownells" but if there is someplace in Canada to order it, I'd be in!

Yep, Brownell's.

Fast shipping.
Cheap shipping (if you click the correct box)
Better selection
Better or equal prices.

Why wouldn't you?

EDIT: I forgot- Knowledgeable gunsmiths that you can talk to.

I've been looking for a Ghost trigger connector for my SR9 as well. I'll have a look at Brownell's. And as for ammo, I started at the cheapest I could get and worked my way up and it's fired everything flawlessly but I'd have to say American Eagle 124gr is my favorite for it.

OH YEAH BROWNELL'S HAS IT...but I tried ordering one from them a few days ago and because it's a "gun part" they won't ship it across the border! Damned Liberals back in the 90s! I also tried direct from Ghost Inc., they don't ship to Canada...emailed them if they knew of a Canadian source, hopefully they'll reply soon. Finally, I tried Amazon, and after my fun with Brownell's I gave a receiver just across the line as a US address...got an email back that it sounds suspicious and I might try to export it! It's a steel plate with tabs, guys, not a nuke! :) Unreal what those damned Liberals did to us back in the 90s! I'll keep you guys posted...
Alright, thanks for the advice on ammo, sounds like American Eagle 124 grain is a good one!
Lol Ballox, I asked my gun shop owner amigo about putting me down for one, when the new shipment came in
this late spring...this was on Tuesday, and Thursday morning he calls and tells me he got two in, one's gone...
do you want the other one? Heck Ya!! Good price as well, $459!

Mine seems to love the S&B 115gn the most.

Regarding the ghost trigger; get a few hundred rounds though her first, then decide. The trigger smoothes out a lot with use.;)

Mine shoots anything I've run through it very well, including my own handloads :D

I've used S&B 115 gr, Winchester, Fiocchi, and my 125gr lead bullet handloads.

No malfunctions.

Brownells will ship gun parts to Canada.

Brownells is restricted by ITAR, so some parts, and some orders, need extra permits. (For example, you may need to obtain an IIC from DFAIT.)

If you ask, Brownells will explain what you need to do to enable them to ship to you.

I know the Liberals are responsible for just about everything including aids and dandruff but you might look elsewhere at least on this one. The US Govt has export regulations and that's where the finger should point some of the time.

Hercster, beck in the 90s the Liberals were asked by the US government if they wanted Canada exempted from the pain in the derriere export restrictions on things related to firearms, and the Liberals said no! So, those export restrictions wouldn't have applied to us if the Conservatives had been in power.

Bought a CZ Shadow for my wife. Heard about the SR9 so I bought one for myself. As a result I now shoot the Shadow. She loves the SR9. Shoots anything I put through it, even reloads. Trigger does smooth out.

There's an old "joke" about what would have happened if the horse hadn't stopped for a dump in the middle of the race. This could go on and on. If the Conservatives hadn't been in power John Diefenbaker wouldn't have been able to destroy the Avro program and Canada might have had a viable aircraft industry at the world class level. If the Conservatives would have been in power in the sixties, we might still be flying the Union Jack or we could have been just another of the disunited states that are going down the drain day by day. I wasn't interested in gun issues the 90's enough to remember but I will take what was said about the US proposal as fact. Listening to Liberal bashing just gets a little old. I live in the US six months a year. I'm as pro gun as anyone on this forum and wouldn't want to trade our place for their place for anything and that includes the whole gun scene.

Lots of SR9 goodies here...and they ship to Canada.
BTW jspeed, you are not supposed to hotlink non-site sponsors

I second this. Fast shipping ($5 flat rate) and great product. Owner even hand wrote "Thanks" and signed my invoice which may not seem like much but shows appreciation and thoughtfulness that seems all too uncommon these days.
I ordered kit#4 and it made a big difference for me.
