just bought my first optic for my ar15 question

Hi guys.

Im new into the optic world.

I just bought a Vortex razor red dot which includes a scope mount for a picatinny rail.

but unfortunately figured out i will need a flat top riser for my rail...

Is there anything i should be aware before buying this piece?

any recommandation? I see prices can vary from 25 $ to ~200$+...

Honestly, it would likely work, but sometimes the cheap/knock off/air soft stuff can be out of spec.

I would recommend getting a QD riser:

You get what you pay for. That applies to EVERYTHING, especially gun stuff, and especially optics/mounts.
