They're just another mag. Basically all Magpul has done is "fischer-price" the magazines. Now you can drop them (or throw them hard against the floor), stomp on them and use them basically for purposes a magazine ought not to be used. In comparison, metal magazines still need to be treated like magazines, especially the aluminum ones.
