Very nice. I have one too. These always seem to be very accurate. Small and light, but not a youth model, and very well made. The bolt is stiff to #### on mine, and the trigger is not light, but it's still a pleasure to shoot.

So the sakrat arrived today. Looks to be a interesting rifle! On the side on the action it says Sakrat. On the barrel on the left side it says Avsett for 22WRF. Interestingly it looks to be hand stamped. Possibly this was a rebarrel from sweden?

Apparently, the word "Avsett" in Swedish means something like "intended" or "intended for". As you know, there is a thousandth or two difference in SAAMI spec groove diameter among .22, 22WRF, 22 WMR barrels - they were not supposed to be the same size. Depending on quality of what was actually done, or whether a previous owner thought it was "close enough", is very possible someone could have re-chambered it after it left the factory - I'm not so sure about what would be required, if anything, to the bolt face on that one, to change from one rimfire cartridge to another. I am not real certain that Husqvarna ever sold that rifle in that chambering, but maybe they did? It certainly would be easy enough to stamp "W" "R" "F" on that barrel, after the 22 - especially if it was not originally stamped as 22 Short, 22 Long or 22 Long Rifle.

Sakrat means safe. I had a very similar Husqvarna single shot so stamped as the safety rolled toward the word sakrat
Very sweet lil rifles

Agreed.
Common error on many sites and auctions.

Edit:
Believe it's a no.255a (pistol grip stock), no.255 without sling swivels.

Should be a fun little rifle !

I have 2 from the tradex days they are cool little single shots, however 1 of mine has a very light trigger, basically breath on it, so someone has messed with it back in europe, i am trying to figure out if they filed the sear or bolt catch the bolt has a bevel on it and i have to go to the cottage where my other one is to see if they all have that small bevel, if not I may be able to file it square ish again to make the rifle safe, if its on the trigger end, then i am screwed unless i can find a replacement.
