Your sitting in your treestand, wind in your face, and the biggest baddest buck that you have ever seen steps out in front of BROADSIDE, and complete oblivous to your presence.

Your choices:confused: :

1. A legal centerfire calibre
2. Modern inline
3. Traditional muzzleloader patch & ball (flint, percusssion..whatever)
4. Archery equipement

This is a gimme shot with any choice.

Which one would you personally choose? Remeber, bragging rights for the next two hunting season's are at stake:cool: .

I would immediately strip down to my loincloth, pull out my hunting knife and leap on his back engaging him in mano-a-mano hand to hoof combat while yelling blood-curtleing screams denouncing the liberals and their gun control agenda. Once he was dead, i'd do my happy dead deer dance and offer sacrifices for his spirit, and then take his children into my tribe and raise them as my own.

(hey, if you're going to worry about hunting like a 'real man' - do it right. :D )

BP cap and ball traditional caplock.
Or I would expose myself to him, making him feel so inadiquit that he commits suicide.:) :dancingbanana: :)

I hunt with stick bows, caplock muzzle loaders, BPCR 's, and single shot rifles as well as a cool bolt action.
Whatever I had in my hands at the time would do the job.

It wouldn't matter to me what I killed it with, or how big it was as long as it was a one shot kill, or a least a short blood trail.

I've always had it in the back of my head to use my trap door deer hunting. I haven't yet, but some day I will. Any deer within a 300 yards is dead with that thing.........still my favorite rifle to shoot. That may also be in part because the 45/70 is my favorite cartridge to shoot.

IN order, I would use 1, then 2, then 3, then 4 and after all that maybe I would trry and jump on his back and stab him with my hunting knife, or borrow gatehouses spear.
