Where are you getting your Diemaco parts through? I have wanted a Diemaco built C8, but was under the impression that they did not entertain civilian sales.

Diemaco (now Colt Canada) does not deal with civilians. Parts can be had. Just keep your eyes open. I saw C8 SFW upper a while back. If I had the money I would have bought it.

I just got back from the range today with the my 7" AR. Built it completely from parts. I would still like to add a KAC QD flash hider, MIAD and some rail covers but I have to say she functioned flawlessly. I was worried after hearing all the horror storys about short barreled AR's not working but I put 300 or so rounds down range and not a single stoppage. I would just like to thank the members on this board who supplied some of the parts.

Yup thats kinda what I thought. The Calgary Tac boys recently switched from Armalite to Diemaco, and are extremely happy. It sounds like the new recruits are getting the Armalites now for doing their stoppage drills.

I had to get a few parts that were missing:

Magpul XT rail covers
Magpul MIAD
New Green CTR
Knight's QD Flash hider
Troy flip up rear
Diemaco Upper (T marked with M4 feed ramps)

Let me know what is missing (besides the Knight's sound suppressor)

Thats a sweet setup! Gets better and better. Just need the matching ranger plates and you are GTG(once the 553 is installed)
