Just for discussion - Garand receivers $49.95 at SFRC Vs. EE pricing

Just looking for your commentary on the fact that receivers are being listed at what a person paid with tax and shipping to them, + a bit more + shipping to you when there are supposedly still a crap load of them in a warehouse somewhere and SFRC has them in stock for $49.95... Not that I am against free market, but I have just seen some really weird prices the last while for something you can buy cheaper any day.

It is the way of the EE. Just like the M-38 Mosins at Christmas. Once some people see the supply dry up, or perceive it to be drying up the $$$ signs light up in their eyes.

It's a free market, a would-be seller can ask as little or as much as they like.

And maybe they aren't really trying to sell. Maybe they need to placate someone with the appearance of trying to sell something that someone thinks they shouldn't have bought in the first place.
