Hey guys,
Just got myself a CSA VZ.58 sporter.

Anything special i should know about these bad boys before taking it to the range?

Also, I'm planning on ordering a BC tactical scout mount and adding a Bushnell TRS 25.
Anyone have anything similar and can comment on how they preform?

I got my csa vz58 about six weeks ago, nearing completion now. I got a Bushnell Zoom dot mounted on a scount mount. The scout mount I ordered form the states but I think its the same one. It's got hex screws you can back off and pop the rail off so you can remove the handguard. The base also serves as rear iron sight, never even had to adjust front sight it was bang on!
If you want information on the trs25 it's everywhere, check the vz58 sight n scope mount sticky. Use a good rust preventative before you shoot. It's an awesome gun, not impressed with the mags though they've got some kind of a darn pin in them that needs fixing...;) I mean some paint! can't have that shiny crap on a work gun:cool: Still need tac light and mag carrier of some kind. Might add bolt release,maybe BC tactical combo, need input:popCorn: I'll hafta post pics when i'm done:D
 
Sweet rifle. I've had mine a few weeks now and just can't seem to shoot it enough.Love the look of the ugly ass beaver barf furniture :cool: Looking into a side mount for mounting a scope and also reloading so I can shoot this baby as much as possible($).Have fun with your new rifle.
