Hello all,
I received my Norc shorty a day ago in the mail, I cleaned of all the cosmoline and oiled/greased it appropriately. Now the finish on mine is immaculate, except for one thing. The fit has a bit of a gap on the left part of the upper barrel cover. is this normal? everything fits so smoothly other than this, also I'm thinking of buying a usgi wood stock soon anyways.
Also, my magazine was bottom welded [by the norinco factory, as it was still in cosmoline and new packaging]
I'm thinking of shaving off the weld spots so I can clean out the cosmoline of the inner workings of the mag, would I get in trouble legal wise for this? here's a pic of the welds.
