Hey Guys!
Well i finally got another 10/22! I have the Marauder, which is a constant work in progress, so I decided to get a more (conservative) .22 for target/gophers, also now I have one for my Son to shoot as well....
I lurked the forums for a couple months looking for the right one. I found this one on FireArmsCanada.com..... Basic stainless 10/22 with factory hammer forged stainless heavy barrel. It came with a Bushnell 3200 Elite 3-9x40 scope, and a Harris Bi-Pod. The guy also got a trigger job done on it. Whoever did it did a real good job, as it breaks nice and crisp at about 2.5 lbs, and has no overtravel/creep. (he put a stop screw in the triggerguard).
I've got a couple tougher buffers coming in the mail. I'll throw one in it, otherwise i'll leave well enough alone (maybe) ;-)
I'm going to have to find the right rounds for it, as i tried cheap bulk federal in it today, i pu about 200 rounds through it, I had ONE FTE, so thats just fine, but the groups left ALOT to be desired! Tomorrow I have a day off, So im going to town to get more Hornady 20 gn. .17 ammo, so I'll pick up an assortment of .22 to see what's what in this thing. Any suggestions?
