Just got RPAL, a few Q's

After quite a few days I finally got my RPAL- w000t- Now I pretty much understand the process for buying a gun from a dealer but my situation is different. I have already worked for my cousin enough to pay for a handgun he was going to sell to me and now that I have my license I would like to legally acquire it. Is the process for simply transferring a restricted firearms ownership the same as buying one from a dealer? i.e joining a gun club- ATT's etc?

You will have to call the cfc to transfer it from you cousin to you at 1-800-731-4000. You will need His firearms licence number his full mailing address, the cert number of the firearm, make, model, and serial number. Then you will need all of your info and your new RPAL. Then after 3 days to however long they decide to drag it out to approve the transfer and give you the ATT to take it home. Then you can get your gun club to apply on your behalf for an ATT to bring it to the club.
