With a dozen+ rifles and shotguns, my arsenal is very lacking in handguns and revolvers.

I have a 9mm PCC and around 10 glock mags so figure that'd probably be a good place to start.

Anyone have a line on in stock glock mag compatible 9mm handguns? At a decent price?

I think I want something optics ready, looking for some recommendations. Usually I do a ton of research before buying something but think i just wanna jump in and get my feet wet without waiting too long, who knows what could change when.

Thanks !

Hard to get away from anything "modern" these days without a polymer frame.... i have a glock gen4, love it after the trigger job. Couple thousand rnds, doesn't seem to be bothered its made out of plastic.

Lol, yeah they certainly are. There are also quite a few others. I like reliability but not a huge fan of plastic.

Check out CZ pistols, who cares they don't use Glock mags. You are not truly a gun enthusiast until you have a box full of different mags for different guns.;)

Honestly I wouldn't limit my choices based on magazine compatibility.

I hear ya, don't intend to limit myself to one handgun either, lol. Was just thinking for the first one some ammo/mag commonality couldn't hurt. Just want to get something on order sooner rather than later with the current climate.

yeah I'm seeing that seems to be the case. I'm not hating on it altogether, just from my perspective, all other things being equal, I'd choose a metal frame over polymer if given the option

Saskatoon Gun Works is coming out with custom pistols based on the nomad 9 frame next year, might be an option if you don't want an actual Glock.

ended up going with a new g19x from the LGS, got an okay deal I think, anyway. Have the transfer initiated on something decent which was the main goal, now to decide what's next.. I think I'd like a 5-7 but might have to wait a couple paychecks... I could maybe swing a cheap 1911 in .45 acp though...
