Just Ordered Componets for a Complete XCR-L Upper :)

Earlier this year I purchased a OD green XCR-L in 223 then a couple months later I decided to also buy a 6.8spc conversion kit for it...

I have now started liking the 6.8spc so much that I almost put the 223 kit up for sale on the EE thinking that I wouldn't use it much if at all again.

I was at the gun club yesterday with it and after shooting the 6.8 for a while I switched over to the 223 kit I was also sighting in another scope for the 223 so had to start from scratch on the sight in.

After shooting the 223 for a while I realized that there was no way I was going to part with it so instead I called Wolverine and ordered the rest of the components so I can have a complete OD green upper for both barrels and a spare small parts kit for the just in case scenario.

D*mn now I have to deal with the bloody waiting game again and I am unfortunately not a very patient guy... :D
 
All these used XCR parts, uppers and lowers and extras, cluttering up your safe. You should send all of it too me and buy a whole new set of rifles. One in 223 and one 6.8.

That would solve all your XCR dilemas.

if they can use "honey I bought this new dress so I can look good for you" you should be able to use " I bought this rifle for you, so we can spend more time together" oh yeah, don't forget to ask her to wear that new dress too when you two go to try her new rifle ;)

You guys are forgetting that RA is supposed to be introducing their brand new XCR-M soon...

So I don't want to over do it until I see what that rifle looks like...

I guess that depends on how you define "soon". I doubt we'll see it in Canada for at least another 18m. :(
