Just ordered Sav MkII TR where can I get EGW 20 MOA base?

Hi Guys

I just ordered a 2010 Savage MkII TR in .22 LR. This will be my first new .22. (I have a Remington Viper that a friend gave me 18 years ago... and I can't wait to get rid of it.) I have always been a centre fire guy but I am really looking forward to an inexpensive and low recoil rifle to shoot at my club.

I am looking for a 20 MOA EGW Picatinny rail. I have found one in the US but I am unsure if a Canadian would be allowed to export or import and frankly I would rather not take the chance of doing something wrong. Do any of you know where I could get the mount in the link below from a Canadian and preferably board member? Thanks in advance!!!!

PS would the Mk II TR be 1 3/8" or 1 5/8"???

I have sent a couple of emails with no response over the last month. Just wondering if he is away or his site is shutdown.

I talked with EGW in the US last month. They said they would have no problem shipping those up here. BTW where did you order your MKII? I'm waiting to get one before I order a base for it.
