Just picked up a 12.5 HP9. What to expect?

So I just finalized my order with ammosource, what can I expect from this little 12 gauge in terms of reliability and durability? Am I correct that only the HP9-1 is able to use 870 barrels and the HP9 is not? What about the other parts?

What to expect? How about rock solid reliability. I lovvve mine. It's definitely my favorite gun. I need to take it to the range next time I go....

Not so light, very solid shogun but heavy for something so small.

Should be interchangeable with most 870 parts. It's the Norinco 780 models that aren't interchangeable.

The Norinco synthetic stock is heavy. Twice as heavy as a synthetic Remington 870 or Hogue stock.

Except for the shorter barrel, it's identical to the H&R Pardner Protector with it's 18.5. Tough as nails. Lucky it has an excellent butt pad.
