Was waiting for a deal at Cabellas, and finally the adjustable stock model went on sale.

I bought a cheapo red dot for it (will upgrade later) and had a couple questions.

The glock magazine well, went in almost too easy, and was loose before reassembly. That normal?

From what I read, my g17 mags should work correct?

And how are people mounting slings to this model? I don't see many pics of the adjustable stock/hand guard models with slings.

Appreciate the help, can't wait to do some plinking this weekend!

I bought a PC9 Ruger on EE two weeks ago, and have been playing with it.

I added a sling ring to the rail.

In the picture you can also see I added another bolt handle to the left side. Have one on each side now. The left feels much more comfortable in most situations. The original handle stays tight. The add-on came loose. Needs a dab of Lok-Tite.

I painted the mag release so i can find it in a hurry. Black on black is not so good. Also added a little bump on it with a dab of epoxy, so I can feel it when wearing gloves.

Last mod is a piece of pencil eraser behind the trigger, to limit over travel. Faster resets.

I am running Glock mags, and so far the bolt seldom locks open. My ammo may be a bit too mild. Will work on that.

I usually shoot 135gr lead bullets in 9mm, but find that the Canpro 124s and 147s shoot tighter groups.

I have tried two different muzzle brakes. A Colt AR-15 birdcage and a Glock screw on brake. Both shifted the group noticeably (at 50 yards) and opened up the group a bit. So much for that idea...
