Notice it has no safety or take down notch on the slide.

Ummmmmmmmmmm ok - how do I strip it for cleaning??

you tube has been no help :(

You are missing the take down latch. Where'd you buy it?

Actually I figured it out, the hammer drop lever actually catches on the hammer to let you pop the slide catch.

Neat engineering, but I found that I absolutely need a firing pin. This one is severely bent, mushroomed and quite rusty.

Numrich has them, but $30 [USD + shipping] would like to see if I can find one cheaper up here.

I got it from "a guy" sold me this [all matching including mag] and a P38 all matching + 2 mags + holster.

$1200 - what a freaking deal!!

Sean,
Don't strip it down too much. Don't take the mainspring housing out, these late guns weren't made to be detail stripped with the riveted/pinned frame. You will have a very difficult time putting it all back together if you take the mainspring housing out and the sear spring falls off the sear & trigger release.
Just field strip it and then blow out/spray out the inside of the frame. The slide can be detail stripped without a problem.
Let me know if you have any other questions,
Marcin

Not really into taking it completely apart if I have to.

I kinda thought the pins might be some kind of roll pin arrangement, but they actually do look somewhat more permanent. Again, if something breaks - then I'll worry about it.

I did pick up 2 firing pins from ebay, for pretty much the same price I would have paid for ONE PIN PLUS SHIPPING from numrich. Almost $50 shipping for ONE firing pin. That's an actual wallet rape.

@wbaad

YUP :)

Deals still be out there. actually I got a couple of guns from the same guy about this time last year similar too good to be true price - he called me!!
Then I figured out I was funding his hunting trips... :)

If he wants to hunt next year, I'm gonna try and get his Luger [BEG]

I had a pre war shoulder stock gun and a vet capture one.
Amazing shooters.
Numrich or marstar would be about it. Maybe eBay.
Does your friend have the parts by chance?
Btw if anybody has a black gripped vis with "ROZYK" scratched into the bottom of one of the grip panels let me know!!!

You have a late production p35. That's why its missing the take down notch and lock lever. My p35 is an early german production and I had no problem with striping it down.
