Nice dude, I shot my first few handguns at the range these past two weeks, I started with a Ruger 1911 .22lr, then a Glock 17 9mm, then just yesterday I shot off a Norinco 1911 .45 acp it was awesome, he was going to let me shoot his .44mag but I chickened out after I saw him fire off that brutal load lol but it looked fun haha. Congrats I cant wait to get my RPAL, I require knee surgery but once I'm walking again I'll inquire about upgrading my PAL
Congratulations dude, but a word of warning: Getting your first handgun is the first step into the rabbits hole. They're like tattoos, you get one, and it's cool, but soon you'll want another one. And another one.
On a lighter note, good on you dude, I've only heard good things about CZ.
Congratulations! Welcome to the club. I'm sure everyone on CGN remembers their 1st handgun, rifle, shotgun etc. You picked an excellent firearm for your first. Now it gets expensive! LOL!
Thanks everyone for the positive response! I was deciding between this gun and an M&P 9 and im really glad i settled on the CZ. I'm sure the m&p would have been a great gun also but i feel this is going to fit shooting style better.

Apples and oranges! You have a CLASSIC, well made firearm. DA/SA options. You can always get a M&P later. Polymer striker fired guns feel different. Not bad, just different. The CZ balances well. I have shot many of them in the 80s when they were plentiful. Now I regret not getting one then! Like I said before....this hobby will get expensive now!!
Just got back from the range, fired 165 rounds and the gun was great! The -12*C weather makes its a little hard to get a good feel for the pistol but overall i was pretty satisfied with my shooting. Good times, I cant wait to get out again!
