I just returned from a bi-monthly pilgrimage to www.ellwoodepps.com and discovered that they imported a whack of flash suppressor pliers (castle nut version) for $ 20ish.

And they also brought in some stock liner tools for around $ 15ish. So here is your chance to get a set / pair just so you can enjoy the tweaking process. Does one need one? Not really, you can improvise, but if you split the cost between a couple of M14 shooters at your club, and you don't mind sharing, then the tools are worthwhile.

I noticed also that they had a bunch of Norinco/Poly black & camo plastic stocks for you folks who wanna toss and burn your chu wood stocks.

Importing barrels .... that is a whole other issue! Darn... if only Smith Enterprises could make a run of say 100 barrels that are short chambered in the Crazy Horse profile (google is your friend) for under $ 400, that would certainly be worth cranking up the VISA card. ;)

Enjoy the addiction!

Cheers,
Barney

"...that is a whole other issue..." Yep. Requires the U.S State Dept export permit. And Smith can sell everything they make Stateside.
Epp's is still a good place to 'poke around' though. Ad Hominem still worth it? Haven't been in either for years.

Ad Hominem is an even better place to poke around! I have literally spent hours in there. Only open every other week-end now, but well worth stopping in if you see that "Open" sign.

Re EPPS is there a good hotel near by. Also I hear there is a great BBQ place close.

Never made the pilgrimage , but have a safe full of their stuff. Figure drive down wreck my credit rating on master card spend a night head home. A mid week holiday.
