Hmm well, after reading this I went gave a good try out with the RWS model 48.....If this is a Lada is sure is a good one. The HW is no doubt a great rifle but the 48 is simply awesome as well.
What iratates me about RWS/Diana guns is it is common nowadays to get harsh shooting ,damaged seals and rough machining burrs internally new from trhe factory.As well the mainspring is usually bent and a different dia every coil.$120 later with a tune and Macarri custom innards you have a gun.I almost bought a 48 in .22 cal in Montana last summer.Severe barrel droop is another issue along with a PI$$ POOR scope mounting rail.RWS sells more guns so the QC remains unchanged...............Harold..the new droop comensating mt from Leaper's is the best out there IMO [often 100% bone dry lubricant wise new to boot]
