Anyone wanna build it? LOL...I have a vairety of ammo sitting here on my bench, and was playing with a 44 mag when it hit me: We could neck the 44 pistol cart down to .22, .20 and .17 and have a whole new line of WSSSSSSM's

It's probably been done. The 30 carbine has been necked to .17, .19 and .20, as has the 357.

Only problem is bottle neck cases just don't work well in revolvers. It's been tried, but locks up the cylinder.

I was thinking of this as a rifle round! Just doing some basic calcs the ballistics on a .44/20 out of a 20" barrel look awesome.
