I got a new norinco jw25a not long ago took it to the range yesterday for the first time and noticed the rear sight is way off to the right.
I took it apart to see what was wrong and its the way the sight side pins and the holes in the part holding in place was machined. Any idea on how to fix it?
And before any one mention to put a scope on it all my other rifle have scopes i wanted this one to be iron.

i had the same problem. I filled in the sight with epoxy and filed in a new notch that was centred. I'm yet to test it, but it looks better, should work better.
I think this is a common problem, I got two like this. One I had to send back it was way to bad to even try and fix.

Canada Ammo are a super company to deal with, have you tried contacting them?

When I got mine and test fired it, I had to move to front sight all the way to the right and it still hit to the right of aim point. I contacted canadaammo and they emailed me a prepaid shipping label to return for repair or replacement the same day that I contacted them.

Be careful what steps you take!

I bought used one, and upon it's arrival found the rear sight filed by a monkey, and off both axis. Although the front sight is adjustable, this monkey chose to file the rear notch off center, and canted the top of the sight. Looks so awful I've just slapped a scope on it for now.
