Hello Gents,

Sitting here with the Military on Flood watch in B.C, Just wondering what you folks think of the K-100 pistol one of the young fellas looking at picking one of them up through Marstar, If it was up to me I'd go for the G-17....

Marstar dropped the line so availability will be limited. The Shooting Edge in Calgary will be picking up the line IIRC they should have them in pretty soon, just give them a call.

I ordered mine from Elwood Epps and love it. I got the basic model (no mk6 frame, basic sights). No problems yet, worked right out of the case. Haven't cleaned it yet and it's fired everything I've put through it with no malfunctions. (approx 650 rounds if i remember correctly)

Only ammo I've tried that it doesn't like is CCI Blazer 115gr, stovepipes every 2nd-3rd round with that ammo.

A few things I didn't like:

The safety could lock in place more securely.
Mag release should be a bit big. (I've become used to it however)

Other than that, no complaints. It's a great deal as far as I'm concerned.
 
I have recently acquired the target version with the micrometer rear sight and the fiber optic front sight (fiber optic fronts are simply zee cats ass).
I've been itching to shoot it, but that looks like that will have to be postponed for two weeks :(
By my account, the metal work has been flawlessly excecuted; DA trigger is smooth, and SA trigger is crisp. The rotary locking barrel is posittive and simple in function. I anticipate this to be a full capability performer.
